When comparing the Maxxis Victra Sport 5 and the Linglong Sport Master tyres, there are several key factors to highlight.

The Maxxis Victra Sport 5 and Linglong Sport Master are both UHP (Ultra-High Performance) summer tyres but they have different strengths and weaknesses. In our tests, the Maxxis Victra Sport 5 scored a rating of 69%, compared to the Linglong Sport Master which got a score of 64%.

In the AutoBild test, out of 50 tyres, the Maxxis Victra Sport 5 was ranked 9th and its most notable feature was its performance in wet circle cornering. A very important feature as it provides better control and safety during rainy conditions. Despite these qualities, it has some weaknesses as well. The Maxxis Victra Sport 5 was found having average lifespan and it also had a noticeably delayed steering response.

The Linglong Sport Master, on the other hand, ranked higher, at the 7th position. Its best feature was exterior noise and was applauded thrice for the same. This means that the tyre produces extremely low noise, contributing to a smoother and quieter drive. But it had its flaws like very low mileage and understeer in dry conditions and mediocre comfort.

Also worth noting is that the Maxxis tyre is made in China whereas the place of origin for Linglong tyre is not specified. Neither of the two models has been replaced by a newer model so far.

To summarize, the Maxxis Victra Sport 5 stands out for its wet performance but lags behind in steering response and lifespan. The Linglong Sport Master scores highly for low noise and short braking distances, but underperforms in terms of mileage, dry performance, and comfort. Depending on what you value more in a tyre, either of them could be a good choice.

When making your decision, remember to consider these factors in light of your driving preferences and conditions.
