In this review, we make a comparison between two all-round tyres, the Maxxis Premitra AS AP3 and the Falken EuroALL Season AS210. Neither of these options has been replaced by a newer model, which means that our comparative analysis is current and very relevant for consumers.
Let's start with the Maxxis Premitra AS AP3. Produced in China, this tyre has a decent rating of 53%. Its top strengths on various tests are in cornering on wet circles, noise levels, and dry braking. However, it does tend to struggle in winter performance and is noted to have a weak grip on icy conditions and snowy roads.
From the test data provided, this tyre performed best in Aquaplaning - cross, positioning 7th in the ACE test and 4th in Autobild. According to Autobild 2022, the Premitra AS AP3 excelled in short dry brake distances and a low price. However, it struggled in snowy conditions, exhibiting restricted grip and understeering.
