In this review, we compare the Firestone Multiseason 2 and the Kleber Quadraxer 3. Both tyres have been tested extensively and have displayed unique strengths and weaknesses.

The Firestone Multiseason 2 is a winter tyre, produced in Italy, which gained an overall rating of 67% on our scale. Notably, the tyre performed admirably in snow tests and demonstrated excellent grip, backed by a low rolling resistance. However, it has a drawback in the form of extended dry braking and marginally below-average comfort. The Firestone Multiseason 2 did not have any tyre replacing it nor did it replace any previous models of Firestone. For more details and purchase, please visit Firestone.

On the other hand, we have the Kleber Quadraxer 3, an allround style tyre which earned a significantly higher rating at 90%. This model, made in Poland, is indeed a new iteration from the Kleber Quadraxer 2. Testing has demonstrated it to possess exceptional qualities such as comfort and proficient handling in snowy conditions. However, it does have an average wet handling and a higher than usual rolling resistance. Overall, the Kleber Quadraxer 3 ranked 4th in the Autobild test, outperforming the Firestone Multiseason 2 which ranked 11th out of 15 tyres. You can check out and purchase this tyre on Kleber.

In summary, with regards to the mutual tests, both tyres had distinctive features. The Firestone Multiseason 2 shone brightest performing in snowy and wet conditions, albeit falling a touch short during dry braking. On the contrary, the Kleber Quadraxer 3 had impressive dry braking, comfort, and superb snow handling capabilities, though its wet handling can be considered standard.

From the overall tests results, the Kleber Quadraxer 3 superseded the Firestone Multiseason 2 in most tests. Hence, for users looking for an all-rounder with a bias for snowy conditions and comfort, the Kleber Quadraxer 3 would be a better investment. However, for those who need a winter tyre with reliable snow and wet performance, the Firestone Multiseason 2 could be a more suitable pick.
