The Toyo Proxes Sport 2 is an ultra-high-performance summer tyre, rated at 72% by our team. Manufactured by Toyo, its main strengths were seen in tests like the AutoBild test where it secured the 10th position out of 50 tyres. Its performance was particularly praised for wet circle cornering. Despite presenting a balanced driving behaviour in both wet and dry conditions and offering short dry braking distances, it was marked down for its restricted mileage performance and higher price.
On the other hand, the Falken Azenis FK520, is another summer tyre that excels in ultra-ultra-high-performance (UUHP) parameters. Rated at 75% by our team, this Turkish-made, successor to the previous model Falken Azenis FK510, secured an impressive 8th position in the same AutoBild test. It shone most in tests for aquaplaning longitudinally and low exterior noise. The Falken Azenis FK520 delivers convincing driving performance on dry tracks, with short wet and dry braking distances and low driving noise. Its only noticeable weakness is its limited side guidance on wet roads. Overall, it provides a better value for money than the Toyo Proxes Sport 2 due to its better performance and lower price.
