Today we're comparing two popular summer tyre models, the Pirelli P ZERO PZ4 and the Falken Azenis FK520. Both classified as UUHP, they are known for their high-performance capabilities.


Considering the ratings from our platform, the Pirelli's model comes out on top with an overall rating of 85%, showing slightly more preference to the P ZERO PZ4 model when compared to the Falken's Azenis FK520 which came out at 75% overall.

For the Falken Azenis FK520, it highlighted reassuring dry performance, short wet and dry braking distances, and quiet noise output.


Meanwhile, in Autozeitung's comparison, Pirelli's model came in 4th (out of 9), outperforming the sixth-placed Falken Azenis FK520 in features like dry lane-changing and wet circle cornering.


To sum up, based on our aggregated test data, the Pirelli P ZERO PZ4 is preferred in most aspects, boasting higher overall rating, superior control and balance, and better performance in several tests. Its main downside, however, is its higher price point and lesser mileage than the Falken Azenis FK520, which also offers good results, especially in wet conditions.
