Today we're comparing two versatile allround tyres: the Linglong Grip Master 4S and the Bridgestone Turanza All Season 6. Each tyre presents a unique offer, yet the Bridgestone model is a leading contender in all tested aspects, with a 91% approval rating from our tests.
The Linglong Grip Master 4S offers a good performance in terms of comfort and price/value ratio, assessed in the AUTOBILD test. However, it falls behind in terms of performance on snowy and wet terrain, as well as in aquaplaning situations. This tyre generally exhibited weak performances in conditions other than on dry terrain. Its position in tests at AUTOBILD and Autobild 2024 were 14 out of 37 and 20 out of 35, respectively.
On the other hand, the Bridgestone Turanza All Season 6, produced in Italy by Bridgestone, ranked numero uno consistently, showcasing exceptional features in dry braking, dry handling, wet braking, and wet circle cornering. Its performance on dry and wet terrain was perfect, with a great mileage. Even though it had low performance on snowy terrain, it got a better overall rating thanks to its well-rounded features in all-weather conditions, including its agility, safety, and great resistance to aquaplaning. Its only reported drawback is its high price
To summarise, the Bridgestone Turanza All Season 6, based on all conducted tests, is a superior all-round tyre compared to the Linglong Grip Master 4S. Despite Linglong's comfort and value for money, Bridgestone's product leads in overall performance and safety, and it is often worth considering given the additional assurance it provides. However, it remains important to keep its higher cost in mind.
