In this tire comparison review, we will be looking at the Kleber Quadraxer 2 and the Fulda MultiControl, both of which are allround tyres. We've analyzed numerous tests and customer reviews for both brands to provide a comprehensive comparison of these two models.
The Kleber Quadraxer 2, made in Poland, has been reviewed by us and rated 5%. In our test, it highlighted strengths in exterior noise, snow braking, snow cornering, snow handling and snow traction. It was placed 11th out of 27 tyres tested by Autobild. A special feature of Quadraxer 2 is its exceptionally good performance in winter conditions on compacted snow, which was also pointed out in Autobild 2020 test with comments about its short dry braking distances and quiet rolling noise (manufacturers page). However, the tyre shows limitations in its curve aquaplaning reserves. It is worthwhile to note that the Kleber Quadraxer 2 has been replaced by a newer model, the Kleber Quadraxer 3.
Moving onto the Fulda MultiControl, no rating was provided for this particular tyre model in our test. However, it was positioned in 13th place during the Autobild test. Unfortunately, no specific strengths or weaknesses were highlighted in the data provided. Therefore, more thorough testing data and customer reviews might be needed to fully gauge the capabilities of this tyre (manufacturers page). Unlike the Kleber Quadraxer 2, the Fulda MultiControl has not been replaced by any newer model as yet.
In comparison, the Kleber Quadraxer 2 stands out with a higher rating and better test positions. It performed exceptionally well in winter tests, which highlights its suitability as an all-round tire for varied weather conditions. Despite its shortcomings in curve aquaplaning reserves, overall, the performance and efficiency it offers seems more promising than the Fulda MultiControl according to the tests we've analyzed.
In summary, based on our tests and reviews, the Kleber Quadraxer 2 appears to enjoy a slight edge in overall performance over the Fulda MultiControl. Be sure to check out our individual reviews of these tyres for more in-depth information.
