Starting with the SportContact 6, the model is from Continental and has been a notable performer in the SportContact line, earning a solid rating of 77%. The SportContact 6's array of strengths include less interior and exterior noise, lower rolling resistance, and an exceptional performance in dry conditions - both handling and braking.


According to "Autobild", the SportContact 6 is ranked first out of six tyres, significantly outperforming the competition. In another test by "Sportscars", the SportContact 6 also kept its leading position outrunning nine other tyres. However, it's important to mention this model has been replaced by the newer variant, the SportContact 7.


On the other hand, the Falken Azenis FK510 produced by Falken is another entrant in the great summer performance tyre competition. This tyre has scored a rating of 71% in our rating system.


The Azenis FK510 performs particularly well in wet conditions. From wet braking to handling - regardless if subjective or objective - this tyre shows reliable grip and excellent performance. It also stands out for its comfort. In the previously mentioned "Autobild" test, it comfortably secured a strong 4th place position despite facing a total of six tyres. It repeated this position in the competitive "Sportscars" test against nine other tyres.


However, it should be noted that the Azenis FK510 has been superseded by a newer model, the Falken Azenis FK520.


To summarise, both the Continental SportContact 6 and the Falken Azenis FK510 are good options for summer performance tyres. The Continental model seems to have an edge in dry conditions and noise reduction, while the Falken tyre excels in wet conditions and comfort.
