We have carefully selected a few Laufenn summer tyres for review, based on recent tests conducted by various organizations. One of the most prominent tyres in this selection is the Laufenn S Fit EQ. This tyre has been put through several tests in different years and organizations such as Autobild, GTÜ, and ADAC.

The Laufenn S Fit EQ has had mixed results across different tests. In 2022, Autobild conducted a test on the 215/55 R17 size and rated the S Fit EQ as "satisfactory". The tyre was praised for its secure aquaplaning properties, short dry braking distances, good rolling comfort, and an affordable price. However, the tyre's performance on wet surfaces was not up to par, as it had limited grip and extended braking distances on wet roads. Additionally, it received criticism for its modest tread life.

In 2021, the S Fit EQ was tested by GTÜ on size 225/45 R17 and was given a "recommended" rating. Unfortunately, there is no detailed feedback available for this test, but it does indicate that the performance of the tyre may have improved in comparison to past evaluations.

The tyre was also subjected to multiple tests in 2020 by Autobild and ADAC. Autobild tested the 245/45 R18 size twice, rating the tyre as "satisfactory" in one test, while the other test focused solely on the braking distance aspect, with no overall rating given. In ADAC's test of the 235/55 R17 size, the tyre received an "insufficient" rating, but no specific feedback was provided.

Based on these test results, it appears that the Laufenn S Fit EQ has certain strengths in terms of aquaplaning resistance, dry braking distances, and comfort. However, it seems that its performance on wet surfaces and overall tread life could be improved. No information was found regarding any replaced tyre generations.
