The Vredestein Quatrac Pro+ is a new generation all-round tyre from Vredestein, replacing the Vredestein Quatrac Pro. Manufactured in Hungary, it achieved a rating of 52% in our tests. However, the tyre's performance in mutual tests with the GoodYear Vector 4Seasons Gen-3, like those conducted by SPORTAUTO and ALVOLANTE, was less impressive where it occupied the 6th position out of 6 and 7 tyres respectively.

By comparison, the GoodYear Vector 4Seasons Gen-3 is another all-round tyre option, developed as a successor to the Goodyear Vector 4Seasons Gen-2 and Goodyear Vector 4Seasons. Manufactured in both Slovenia and France, the Vector 4Seasons Gen-3 outperformed the Vredestein Quatrac Pro+ in our testing, earning a rating of 86%. The tyre maintained higher standings in the SPORTAUTO and ALVOLANTE tests, achieving 5th position in both tests.

However, the GoodYear Vector 4Seasons Gen-3 also took a commendable 3rd position in the ACE tests, outperforming the Vredestein Quatrac Pro+ (which also came in 6th in this test), and displaying real prowess in Aquaplaning - longitudinal, dry handling, and rolling resistance.

From this analysis, it becomes evident that the GoodYear Vector 4Seasons Gen-3 is a better overall tyre, performing exceptionally well across all tests and showing significant strengths in aquaplaning, dry handling, and rolling resistance, as shown in the ACE tests. On the other hand, the Vredestein Quatrac Pro+, despite being an upgrade on the Vredestein Quatrac Pro, largely underperformed in comparison, highlighting certain weaknesses in its performance capabilities.

In conclusion, customers seeking effective, all-around tyres would be better served by the GoodYear Vector 4Seasons Gen-3. The tyre, with its remarkable performance in handling both dry and wet conditions and low rolling resistance signifies its strengths and overall superiority to the Vredestein Quatrac Pro+.

Both tyre manufacturers, Vredestein and GoodYear, continue to innovate and push the envelope for performance and safety in their tyres. While this comparison may highlight a particular model's strengths or weaknesses, it is important to find the right tyre for specific needs.
