Today, we are comparing two summer tyres - the Sava Intensa HP2 and the Falken ZIEX ZE310 Ecorun, both popular choices for drivers due to their balance of performance and durability.
The Sava Intensa HP2, a product of Slovenian tyre manufacturer Sava, scores a 67% rating in our tests. It was previously known as Sava Intensa HP and hasn't been replaced by a newer model yet. The ZE310 Ecorun has been replaced by a newer model, the Falken ZIEX ZE320. In the Autobild test, the ZE310 Ecorun ranked impressively at 8th position, while in the ADAC test, it secured the 6th spot.
Verdict: Based on the test data, the Falken ZIEX ZE310 Ecorun clearly outperforms the Sava Intensa HP2 in multiple aspects. The higher ranking in industry-standard tests, superior dry handling, and overall better score on our site make the Falken model a more appealing choice.
However, the Sava Intensa HP2 does hold its own when it comes to efficiency and lightweight design. Drivers prioritising these aspects might find it more fitting. But do take note of its limitations including lesser handling safety and negative environmental impact factors hinted at in the tests.
