The Nokian WetProof and BFGoodrich Advantage tyres are high-quality summer tyres that have proven their worth in various tests. Both tyres have distinct strengths and weaknesses which make them suitable for different types of drivers and conditions.
The Nokian WetProof tyre, manufactured in Finland, achieved an impressive 83% in our ratings. In the extensive ADAC tyre test, WetProof was ranked 11th out of 15, showing excellent noise reduction and wet circle cornering performance. Furthermore, in the Autozeitung test, it secured a commendable 6th position amongst 10 other high-quality tyres. The tyre further reinforces its prowess in wet conditions as it ranked 2nd in both GTÜ and Firmenauto tests. However, some areas need improvement such as its environmental balance, durability, and sustainability according to Autobild 2021.
BFGoodrich Advantage, on the other hand, received a rating of 76% from us, indicating high reliability and performance. In the ADAC test, BFGoodrich Advantage occupied the 9th position, wherein it outperformed many tyres in fuel efficiency - a crucial aspect for mileage-conscious drivers. However, in other tests like Autozeitung, GTÜ, and Firmenauto, it didn't fair as well, scoring 9th, 8th, and 8th positions respectively. Nonetheless, it redeemed its standing by performing admirably in dry handling in the Autobild test.
