In this comparison, we are comparing a tyre from a manufacturer from France (Michelin) against a tyre from a manufacturer from Holland (Vredestein). Generally, Michelin winter tyres are slightly better rated (90%) than Vredestein (71%). The first tyre test of Michelin Pilot Alpin PA4 was done in 2015, compared to 2018 when was the Vredestein Wintrac Pro first tested. Important for this comparison is also the Autobild 2019 255/35 R19 test, where both the Pilot Alpin PA4 and the Wintrac Pro were tested.
