In this comparison, we are comparing a tyre from a manufacturer from Poland (Kormoran) against a tyre from a manufacturer from Italy (Pirelli). Kormoran is a brand that belongs to the Michelin group. Generally, Pirelli winter tyres are slightly better rated (53%) than Kormoran (14%). In this particular case, the Pirelli Cinturato Winter has a better rating of 38% compared to 6% of the Kormoran SNOW. The first tyre test of Kormoran SNOW was done in 2021, compared to 2016 when was the Pirelli Cinturato Winter first tested. Important for this comparison is also the Autobild 2021 205/55 R16 test, where both the SNOW and the Cinturato Winter were tested. When it comes to comparison, eu labels can be also interesting - 100% of Kormoran SNOW has C wet grip rating, whereas 92% of Pirelli Cinturato Winter has B rating.
