The Kleber Quadraxer 3 and the Vredestein Quatrac are two allround types of tyres that were put under various tests on the tyre tests websites. Kleber Quadraxer 3, produced in Poland, replaced the previous model - Kleber Quadraxer 2. Both tyres have been rated highly, with Vredestein Quatrac slightly ahead with 94% compared to Kleber Quadraxer’s 90% on our rating scale.

According to the tests performed by TyreReviews.com 2023, the Kleber Quadraxer 3 has shown good driving performance on both snowy and dry tracks, with safe aquaplaning properties and short dry braking distances. However, its weaknesses include a delayed steering response and understeering wet handling. Some of its standout strengths are its comfort and snow handling.

In contrast, the Vredestein Quatrac performed exceptionally in dry braking and dry handling, was efficient around the wet handling lap, and showed good performance in the snow. Some downsides include average wet and snow braking and a higher than average rolling resistance. Testers at Autobild highlighted the Quatrac's superior wet braking, circle cornering and handling abilities as its best features.

The performance of these tyres in mutual tests showed some varying results. In the Autobild 2023 test, out of 15 tyres, the Vredestein Quatrac earned a strong second place, while the Kleber Quadraxer 3 was close behind at the fourth position. Despite this, the Quadraxer 3 still displayed good performances in dry braking, comfort, and snow braking. The Quatrac's performance was earmarked particularly for wet conditions - exhibiting excellent wet braking, cornering and handling capabilities.

Summarizing the data from all tests, it seems that the Vredestein Quatrac tends to outperform the Kleber Quadraxer 3 in wet conditions, but the Quadraxer shows strong performance in snow handling. The Quadraxer, however, sometimes suffers from delayed steering responses, while the Quatrac's weak point could be its higher than average rolling resistance. Ultimately, the choice between the two might come down to individual driver's needs and climate conditions.
