When comparing the Kleber Quadraxer 3 and the GoodYear Vector 4Seasons Gen-3, a number of factors come into play. Both tyres are allround tyres designed to provide optimal performance in varying weather conditions. As per our rating, the Kleber Quadraxer 3 comes in at 87% while the GoodYear Vector 4Seasons Gen-3 ranks closely behind at 86%. With such a small difference, let's delve deeper into the specific strengths and weaknesses of these tyres.

The Kleber Quadraxer 3, a product of Kleber, boasts convincing performance on snow and ice, short dry braking distances, and impressive comfort, all at an affordable price. Its previous model was Kleber Quadraxer 2 and it's made in Poland. Its shortcomings, however, include understeering tendencies on dry tracks. Despite these, the tyre outperformed the GoodYear equivalent in several tests, with high marks for comfort, snow handling and dry braking.

On the other hand, the GoodYear Vector 4Seasons Gen-3, from the renowned GoodYear, presents a high performance potential, with dynamic performance in all weather conditions and commendable traction on snow. Unfortunately, dry braking is not its strong suit, and it does create a bit of noise when driving. Yet, it excels in several areas like snow cornering, snow traction, aquaplaning, and both wet and dry handling. These qualities led to its top position in the Autobild test of 15 tyres, surpassing the Kleber Quadraxer 3's fourth position.

In the Autobild 2024, the tyre manufacturers showed significant strengths and minor weaknesses in equal measure. The Kleber Quadraxer 3 and GoodYear Vector 4Seasons Gen-3 displayed divergent strengths, where the GoodYear tyre showed superiority in wet handling and the Kleber tyre in dry braking and comfort, among others.

The Kleber Quadraxer 3 and the GoodYear Vector 4Seasons Gen-3 are both excellent tyres each with their own highlights and downfalls. While the Kleber tyre leans more towards comfort and winter performance, the GoodYear tyre strives for a balance in different weather conditions. Ultimately, the choice will depend on your driving needs and preferences.
