In this comparison, we will take a look at two all-season tyres: the Kleber Quadraxer 2 and the Nexen N Blue 4 Season. These tyres have been evaluated in several tyre tests, which we will summarize to determine their strengths, weaknesses, and overall performance.

Starting with the Kleber Quadraxer 2, this tyre has been replaced by the newer Kleber Quadraxer 3. Nevertheless, it still holds a decent rating of 61% according to our data. The Quadraxer 2's best features from the Autobild test were exterior noise, snow braking, snow cornering, snow handling, and snow traction. In this test, the Quadraxer 2 ranked 11th out of 27 participating tyres. On the other hand, the tyre showed limited reserves in curve aquaplaning according to the autobild 2020 test summary.

Moving on to the Nexen N Blue 4 Season, this tyre has been replaced by the Nexen N Blue 4 Season 2 and has an impressive rating of 80%. The N Blue 4 Season ranked 8th in the Autobild tyre test, outperforming the Quadraxer 2. Its best features were exterior noise, price/value ratio, comfort, and snow cornering. The autobild 2020 test summary praises the tyre for its balanced performance, short dry braking distances, good aquaplaning properties, quiet rolling noise, good economy, and high mileage. On the downside, the tyre exhibits modest lateral guidance on wet roads and increased rolling resistance.

In the Autoklub ČR test, the Kleber Quadraxer 2 ranked 5th, while the Nexen N Blue 4 Season came in 6th, out of a total of 9 tyres. This set of results puts the two tyres very close in performance.

To sum it up, the Kleber Quadraxer 2 is an affordable all-rounder with solid winter performance, and excellent traction and handling in snow. However, its curve aquaplaning capabilities are limited. The Nexen N Blue 4 Season offers a more balanced overall package, with good aquaplaning properties, high mileage, and an attractive price/value ratio, but suffers from modest wet grip and increased rolling resistance.

If winter performance is a high priority for you, the Kleber Quadraxer 2 might be the better choice. However, if you are looking for a well-rounded all-season tyre with more focus on economy and longevity, the Nexen N Blue 4 Season is worth considering. Keep in mind that both tyres have been replaced by newer models, the Kleber Quadraxer 3 and the Nexen N Blue 4 Season 2, respectively.
