The Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 6, a successor to the Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 5 and 3 models, received an astounding 100% rating in our test analysis. Manufactured in Germany, this tyre distinguished itself for its dry handling, comfort, mileage, and low exterior noise across multiple tests. Additionally, it also demonstrated strength in wet handling, dry braking, and showed a favourable rolling resistance, taking the first position in Autobild 's test among ten tyres. Furthermore, it achieved first place in ACE's test and second in SportAuto's evaluation. Overall, it delivered balanced properties on both wet and dry pavement, and it gained recognition for its outstanding performance, remarkable mileage, and reasonable price. The only drawbacks noted were minor weaknesses in curve grip on wet conditions and high price in Autobild 2022's review.
Conversely, Nexen N fera Sport, manufactured in the Czech Republic, and used as first equipment for the BMW 2-series Active Tourer, had a positive showing though not as impressive as the Goodyear's results. Despite ranking eighth in Autobild's test and ninth in ACE's review, this tyre demonstrated resilience against aquaplaning and generated less exterior noise.
