When scrolling and browsing through options for summer tyres, Giti Synergy E1 and Goodyear Efficient Grip Performance are two options that you might come across. This comparison aims to present a fair and unbiased view of both tyres, taking into account multiple tests and real world experience.
The Giti Synergy E1 is a decent tyre model with room for improvement. As shown in the ADAC and Autobild tyre tests, it fares well in regards to its noise levels, both externally and internally, thus providing a level of comfort during the ride. It shows good rolling resistance according to the Autobild's tests, which positively affects fuel consumption. However, its overall ratings pose some cause for concern. In tests by both ADAC and Autobild, the Giti Synergy E1 landed in positions 12 and 19 out of 16 and 51 tyres respectively. These results place the tyre model almost at the bottom of the tests, indicating that there may be better alternatives available. Of note is that the Giti Synergy E1 has not been replaced by a newer model, hence it's still currently in production by Giti.
On the other hand, the Goodyear Efficient Grip Performance proved itself as a strong performer. The tyre excels particularly in aquaplaning according to tests by ADAC and Autobild, resulting in safer driving experience in wet conditions. Despite its strong performance, it should be noted that this model has been replaced by the Goodyear Efficient Grip Performance 2, according to our records. In the comparative tests, the Goodyear Efficient Grip Performance landed in 4th and 11th place out of 16 and 51 tyres respectively, proving its solid performance among the numerous competitors. It is manufactured in Slovakia by Goodyear, a brand known for their quality products.
To sum up, when comparing both tyre models, it is evident that the Goodyear Efficient Grip Performance generally performs better in tests, particularly regarding aquaplaning prevention. The Giti Synergy E1, though having its strengths in noise and rolling resistance, overall falls behind in comparison.
However, the choice should be guided by specific required attributes and individual preferences. Keep in mind that the Goodyear Efficient Grip Performance has been replaced by its newer version, and take into consideration the individual strengths of each tyre as well as their test results before making your choice.
