When comparing the Dunlop Sport All Season and Michelin CrossClimate 2 tyres, it becomes evident that both have their distinct strengths and weaknesses.

The Dunlop Sport All Season, manufactured in France, boasts good handling under both dry and wet conditions. According to TyreReviews.com 2024, it also performs well in snow braking and has a low rolling resistance. Its standout feature as per the Tyre Reviews and Autobild is its commendable wet circle cornering. However, extended braking distances in dry and wet conditions are noted as one of its drawbacks. This, coupled with the lowest grip on ice and increased wear, results in an average value offering. In the Autobild review, this tyre secured the 6th position in comparison to 32 other tyres.

In contrast, the Michelin CrossClimate 2, a product of Italy and Spain, has an overall stronger performance in most categories. Its top features include Noise resistance, rolling resistance, excellent grip in the dry, high aquaplaning resistance and superior snow performance. Limited to excellent grip in rain and a high purchase price that results in a high cost per km due to average wear. In both Autobild and Autoklub CR reviews, the Michelin CrossClimate 2 achieved the first position.

In a nutshell, both tyres offer a set of advantages that would benefit different users. The Dunlop tyre's strength lies in its wet circle cornering and overall decent all-round performance, however, it has room for improvement in ice grip and braking distances. On the other hand, the Michelin tyre is overall superior as it offers a high-quality performance in multiple facets. However, its higher cost may be a deterrent for some users.

All in all, it's clear that the Michelin CrossClimate 2 tends to outperform in mutual tests, but the final decision should be based on individual drivers' priorities and usage patterns.
