In this comparison, we examine two summer tyres, Debica Presto HP2 and Uniroyal RainSport 5, both of which have not been replaced by newer models as of yet. This comparison takes into account multiple test results to provide an accurate evaluation of each tyre's characteristics.

Based on our rating, the Debica Presto HP2 scored 79%, outperforming the Uniroyal RainSport 5, which received a score of 64%. However, it's important to consider each tyre's unique strengths and weaknesses to make an informed decision.

In the Autobild tests, the Debica Presto HP2 placed 16th out of 53 tyres, excelling in the "Price/value" category. Unfortunately, the test highlighted some concerns regarding driving safety. The Uniroyal RainSport 5 secured a 19th spot and was praised for its excellent aquaplaning resistance. Nevertheless, the tyre's performance was significantly marred by noticeable weaknesses on dry roads, environmental factor ratings, high fuel consumption and reduced tyre lifespan.

In the ADAC tests, the Debica Presto HP2 proved superior, ranking 15th out of 50, compared to the Uniroyal RainSport 5's 31st position. The good lifespan, wear and efficiency of Debica Presto HP2 were highlighted in the tests.

Overall, while the Debica Presto HP2, manufactured by Debica, offers a better price/value ratio and displays satisfying wear characteristics and efficiency, there are concerns regarding its safety features. On the other hand, the Uniroyal RainSport 5, produced by Uniroyal, excels in wet conditions, providing excellent resistance to aquaplaning but falls short in terms of balance, durability, and fuel efficiency.

In conclusion, the choice between these two tyres should be made considering the specific driving conditions and requirements. The Debica Presto HP2 represents a more economically savvy option, while the Uniroyal RainSport 5 might be more suitable for regions prone to heavy rainfalls, despite its higher costs associated with fuel consumption and shorter tyre lifespan.
