The Apollo Alnac 4G and Uniroyal RainSport 5 are both summer tyres produced by Apollo Tyres and Uniroyal respectively. However, there are significant differences in their performance and ratings based on multiple tyre tests.

The Apollo Alnac 4G receives an overall rating of 46%, placing it relatively low in competitive rankings. Autoklub ČR places the Alnac 4G at 14th position out of 19 tested tyres, while in the ADAC test, it fares better, securing a 6th place out of 15. In the Autobild test, however, it stands at a low 21st position out of 53 tyres tested. The main drawbacks of the Alnac 4G are its imbalanced performance and weaknesses both on dry and wet roads. The tyre also shows a relatively poor environmental footprint and durability, with noticeable wear.

On the other hand, the Uniroyal RainSport 5, with a superior overall rating of 64%, outperforms the Alnac 4G in mutual tests. In the Autoklub ČR test, it secures a decent 5th place out of 19 tyres, owing to its excellent performance in longitudinal aquaplaning. The ADAC test places it at 13th out of 15, with best results in cross aquaplaning, noise, and exterior noise. In the Autobild test, it ranks 19th out of 53 tyres, underlining its strong aquatic performance. Still, this tyre falters on dry surfaces, showing marked weaknesses. It also falls short in terms of environmental sustainability and tyre lifespan, coupled with high fuel consumption.

Verdict: Overall, based on the test results, the Uniroyal RainSport 5 edges over the Apollo Alnac 4G in aggregate performance. Both tyres have room for improvement in environmental sustainability and tyre longevity. However, the RainSport 5 offers better wet grip and noise control, while Alnac 4G needs to address its inadequacy in dry and wet road conditions. Note that the tests do not indicate a replacement for either tyre model.
