In our latest evaluation, we have handpicked a selection of Michelin summer tyres based on recent test results to provide a comprehensive overview of their performance. Among the chosen models is the Michelin Pilot Sport 5, a tyre that has consistently demonstrated excellence across several tests. Notably, it has replaced older models such as the Michelin Pilot Sport 4 and Pilot Sport 3. The Michelin Pilot Sport 5 has garnered praise for its exceptional handling and grip on both wet and dry surfaces, ranking highly in tests by prestigious organizations like Autobild and Sportauto. However, it's noteworthy that some reviews mention moderate aquaplaning resistance. Its standout features include the shortest dry braking distances and a low rolling resistance, contributing to a quieter ride.

Another noteworthy model is the Michelin e.Primacy, an eco-friendly option that has undergone multiple tests. This tyre excels in providing the best delayed braking on wet surfaces and maintains a very low rolling resistance, making it suitable for those prioritizing sustainability and fuel efficiency. Despite its strong environmental credentials and long lifespan, some evaluations noted a weaker performance in terms of comfort and handling on dry and especially wet roads.

For SUV enthusiasts, the Michelin Pilot Sport 4 SUV has proven to be a reliable choice, securing top positions in various assessments thanks to its balanced high-performance capabilities. The tyre boasts short braking distances in both wet and dry conditions, enhanced aquaplaning safety, and commendable ride comfort. It has, however, faced criticism for its moderate traction on sandy terrains and slightly longer dry braking distances in some tests.
