The company was founded in 1900 by Gustav Becker and Moritz Hasenclver in the town of the same name in Germany. The company was initially dedicated only to the production of tyres for non-motor vehicles. Production of tyres for cars started in 1906. In 1962, the company joined the Goodyear Group. Today, these tyres are manufactured in 13 European plants, making the company one of Germany's best-known brands and a popular tyre retailer throughout Europe. In Europe, the company offers a complete range of passenger car tyres as well as tyres for light or heavy trucks and agricultural equipment. Fulda is the official tyre supplier for Mercedes-Benz.
