In this article, we will compare two popular summer tyres, the Dunlop Sport BluResponse and the Michelin Primacy 4. In the Autobild test, it was ranked 11th out of 53, with its comfort being the highlight. Autozeitung ranked it 8th out of 20, while in the ACE test, it secured the 2nd position with strengths in various performance aspects such as aquaplaning, dry and wet handling.


Moving on to the Michelin Primacy 4, which has an overall rating of 90% on our website. It is particularly praised for its balanced performance on both dry and wet surfaces. In the ADAC test, it achieved the 3rd position out of 16 tyres. Its best features in this test were dry braking and wet circle cornering. The Autobild test ranked it 5th out of 53, while Autozeitung ranked it 3rd out of 20, with wet circle cornering as its best feature. In the ACE test, however, it secured the 8th position out of 9 tyres, with wet handling - objective as its best feature.


Verdict: In terms of mutual test positions, the Michelin Primacy 4 outperforms the Dunlop Sport BluResponse in most tests. It has a balanced performance on both dry and wet surfaces, with no significant weaknesses. The Dunlop Sport BluResponse, on the other hand, has good aquaplaning resistance and dry braking, but shows slight weaknesses in wet braking.


Overall, if you are looking for a balanced summer tyre with exceptional performance on both dry and wet surfaces, the Michelin Primacy 4 would be a better choice. However, if aquaplaning resistance and dry braking are your primary concerns, you might want to consider the Dunlop Sport BluResponse.
